I was going to try and show the difference between using flash and not using flash to take some flower images today but time got away from me so I just used off camera flash for these. The direction of the flower I feel makes a big difference to the feel of the image, is that just me?
During my tramp on Mt Thomas yesterday I took a couple of lenses, my 17-35mm for general landscape shots and my 105mm macro lens for close ups. I was inspired by a post from Leanne Cole to take a few more macros. All in all quite fun, I had my tripod of course and it was not very windy which helped with the grass shots I took. The fungi were tiny and in the forest so the main problem there was getting enough light.
