Processing Options – DxO FilmPack

I recently downloaded DxO Optics Pro 9 to see how it compared as a RAW processor with Lightroom and Aperture, they also make a couple of other interesting products and I have been playing with the DxO FilmPack as well. It provides excellent reproductions of a wide variety of film looks and plenty of control to tweak them as well. I went back to some shots I took a few months ago to see how they would work out. I liked the polaroid touch and some of the B&W options as well.

New SmugMug Update

A quick update, I believe I have fixed all the issues I currently know of and there is a new beta available. This fixes crashes when creating galleries and galleries not being available for selection in the drop downs. If there are any other issues please let me know. I will release an official version in a few days after some more testing.

SmuginProForAperture Update

Feeling a bit under the weather this week, not much photography unfortunately. A quick update on the current state of my Aperture export plugin SmuginProForAperture is all I have!

I am currently in the process of testing a new update which supports multiple accounts, I have released the first beta and another should be out this week with a few tweaks. If anyone wants to give it a go and send me some feedback that would be appreciated. If I feel a bit more alive later this weekend I’ll try and get a more interesting post up!

Oh, I did get a new soft box and grid to play with, seems to work well but I need to feel more like playing with it to work out how to use it properly.

SmuginProForAperture 1.5.2 Released

After a few last minute issues my Aperture to SmugMug export plugins have been updated. This should have been a plain old 1.5 release but issues with the server API resulted in a quick update to back out some changes, unfortunately I missed a bug in my haste to get something out. Apologies to anyone who had issues, everything should be working now. If not please take the time to let me know.
