More images from a trip to Castle Hill with the Kaiapoi Photographic Club. Always a lovely location.
I have been neglecting my blog after several years of fairly regular updates. I suspect I may now be out of the habit and will blog only occasionally. About a week ago I joined some of my fellow camera club members on an early morning trip to Castle Hill on the way to Arthur’s Pass. It was cold but pretty :-).
A trip to the beach this evening, still quite mild and lovely colours in the sky. Subtle pinks and purples. This was a long (4 minute) exposure which has turned the sea flat.
The breakwater at Oamaru, waves crashing over and a very long exposure.
Just one Moeraki boulder, most of the others were occupied with tourists or covered in sea!
I am just back from a lovely trip to Oamaru in North Otago. This is form a trip to see Yellow Eyed Penguins at Bushy Beach. We saw seals but no penguins this time.
I was out with the Kaiapoi Photographic Club last night on a walk about in Christchurch. We started at the Margaret Mahy Playground which is an amazing resource. This is a shot taken at the Avon River running alongside the playground.
