Looking down Lake Pukaki Mt Cook appeared briefly from behind the cloud.
On the way to Lake Tekapo the clouds lit up in Burke’s Pass.
We spent some time driving round Lake Pukaki last weekend, the clouds allowed only a few glimpses of Mt Cook.
I made a few panoramas of Lake Tekapo last weekend, this is the first I have had a go at processing. Sunrise over the lake.
The foreshore at Lake Tekapo is covered in Lupins at this time of year, they are a weed really but they do look pretty.
A one minute exposure looking out over Lake Tekapo at sunset.
I am just back from a fun trip to Lake Tekapo with the Kaiapoi Photographic Club, good company, good weather and some interesting places. I haven’t had time to do much with the images but here are a few as a taster 🙂
