Wedge Wall Before And After

Over the last few weeks I have been building a ‘wedge wall’ to do some studio shots with, not a new concept but I thought it would be fun to try and give me some more options for backdrops – essentially if should be easy to replace the background. I first heard of them of the idea from a post by the brilliant Joel Grimes.

On Tuesday I had my first opportunity to give it a try with the lovely Siobhan Cuttance modelling. It was also the first time I had used my new studio strobe not running from a battery, so lots of firsts. It took a little while to work out the lighting and I still need to play some more but I thought it might be fun to have a look at a quick before and after shot.

This is the final image – so far at least!
