Another image from Port Levy Saddle, and a bit more playing in Photoshop, thinking of making a series of images in this style.
I am slowly working through my images from the weekend, trying different processing and generally just playing about. I liked this shot with all the tree stumps and the one tree remaining.

After freezing at Port Levy Saddle yesterday I took a trip to Magnet Bay, somewhere new and well worth a visit – or two!
I had intended a trip to the West Coast this weekend but the weather was looking a bit unhelpful – snow on the mountain passes so I decided to wait for another weekend. Instead I took a trip to Banks Peninsula and started at Port Levy Saddle. It was very windy and bitterly cold – snow and hail – so my photographs were taken quickly in between pulling gloves off and on and trying to stay warm. Still it is always a good place to visit.
A bright and sunny day to visit Port Levy.
A trip to Orana Park today, a few changes since my last visit with Gorillas having arrived and Orangatang on the way. I didn’t take many images today, just having a day with the kids but I liked the way these two looked.
A few images taken from Godley Head, not a bad view!
