I was up early this morning for a trip to Nape Nape beach north of Christchurch – making use of the fact that sunrise isn’t too early just now. It was surprisingly warm this morning and although there were no clouds to speak of the colours in the sky were gorgeous. I took a lot of images and it will take a while to go through them and decide on my favourites; these will give some idea of what I saw though.
I am back to looking through images from earlier in the year, in particular my trip to Wanaka where I was lucky enough to find some lovely light one evening at sunset. Stormy clouds, sun rays and a sun bow as well. This is another of my images from that evening. A reminder that there is no substitute for good light.
