This will be last post for a little while I think, I will be off travelling to the UK for a few weeks. Hopefully returning with lots of new photographs and spending time with friends and family. This is a pano taken from half way up Roys Peak. I still have a lot of images to work through from my trip to Wanaka, I guess they will have to wait.
A very different feel to these images, taken very close to yesterday’s ones. A bit of blue sky coming through.
A few shots from Roys Peak, lots of clouds and mood and mist! All taken with either a 17-35mm or 70-200mm lens, I seem to like both for these sorts of images, sometimes wide and sometimes long 🙂
Some lovely colours in the clouds over Lake Wanaka, they didn’t last long unfortunately.
A couple of images from the Matukituki river valley, it was quite wet and hard to make images, I tried various options some of which I have shared before, these are HDRs just for something else to try!
A break from my landscapes today, we went to our first Super Rugby game of the year last night at AMI Stadium in Christchurch, a lovely calm mild evening and a good win for the Crusaders.
Something different to start!
The amazing Dan Carter.
Lake Wanaka looking very still on the way down from Roys Peak, I had managed to get below the cloud again by this point and the view was lovely.
