We have a swan plant just outside the living room window which has been full of caterpillars for the last few weeks, I have been meaning to take some images and had not quite got to it. Tonight I noticed that there were lots of caterpillars but no leaves left at all, and a preying mantis had joined the party. A quick play with flash and my macro lens ensued…
Another of Mt Cook, this time an HDR and in colour. I would like to have had a few clouds about but still great to see the mountain completely clear.
Driving back from Lake Tekapo, looking back towards Fairlie the sun and clouds made for interesting light. The fields were dry and looked golden in the sunlight.
A few images of a completely clear Mt Cook at the weekend from a very warm walk up the Hooker Valley track.
Another edit from the weekend, this was processed in HDR Efex Pro and Photoshop.
