The Good Shepherd

Another old image revisited, actually a five shot HDR to start with and then adjusted in Photoshop and DxO FilmPack. Really a fairly typical shot of the Church of the Good Shepherd at Tekapo.

  1. Fantastic mood! I’ve been hearing that DxO is great software, but very system hungry….any comments? I’m not keen on photoshop’s RAW converter and with the demise of Aperture imminent, I am considering looking at DxO’s version.

    • This was just using the FilmPack – which does a great job. I have been playing with the DxO Optics RAW processor as well, so far I like it. It handles shadow recovery and noise well. The lens correction is excellent as well. It is a bit slower than Aperture/Lightroom but well worth a try.
