This is another old image, processed a little differently as well. I walked up Woolshed Hill and camped out on a stunningly warm and still summer’s evening beside this little tarn.
In theory I am trying to tidy up my images and throw some out, in reality I am looking at lots of old images and thinking maybe I could do something with them. This is one taken on the way back from a snowy trip to Hanmer Springs last year.
More from Willowbank, nice slow moving birds!
From time to time I decide to have a play with composites in Photoshop, last night I was going through some old images and wondered what I could make from them, the result is okay given that the images were not taken with the intention of turning them into a composite. I used some ideas from Joel Grimes including using an old HDR background. I think I will have to get out and make some more intentional images just for fun – and Photoshop practice.
I had a trip to Willowbank Wildlife Reserve this afternoon, a place we have gone for years, all sorts of animals and birds, I walked around with my 24-70 lens snapping whatever happened to be in the way, which included these two…
More from Wanaka, taken at sunset with the light casting lovely shadows across the hills.
Still looking at old images, this time a set of images I had intended to turn into a panorama – so I did.
