A mixture of still-life, macro with flash, and Photoshop, just for fun.
I was playing with an image from Punakaiki, I liked the textures in the rocks and clouds and rain but I wanted to bring it out a bit more, a little while in Photoshop…
A good game from the All Blacks last night and a good match to watch, plenty of entertainment before and during the match too. The French supporters were obviously outnumbered but came in good voice and plenty of style.
Before the match we add the Les Miserables with some very loud canons and then the Can Can at half time.
I wasn’t really close enough for great shots of the match but it is always fun to try.
I am just back from the All Blacks v France Rugby at AMI stadium here in Christchurch, a good game for the ABs winning 30 to 0. One quick shot from the pre game entertainment.
The colours at sunset are lovely, the light can be golden and warm but sometimes I like to make it monochrome.

I was trying to tidy up a few images in my library and came across this image that I had never finished off. St Monan’s in Fife.
The final version of my diploma portfolio for this semester, not my best I think but it was what I had! All taken on Banks Peninsula at or around sunset and mostly using a long exposure.
